1 JOHN 2:20, 27 NKJV But you have an ANOINTING from the Holy One, and you know all things. ... 27 But the ANOINTING which you have received from Him ABIDES IN YOU … and you will ABIDE IN HIM.
Anointing = “rub on or pour over,” or SOAKED!!
LUKE 4:18 NKJV (Jesus said) The SPIRIT OF THE LORD [is] upon Me, because He has ANOINTED Me…
ACTS 10:38 NKJV (Peter said) … how God ANOINTED Jesus of Nazareth WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and WITH POWER, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
The presence of God – His Spirit –
is rubbed on, poured over and abides in the believer!

Word of Wisdom - The supernatural ability to gain INSIGHT, PERCEPTION, or INWARD KNOWING - of certain facts in the mind of God, pertaining to issues that are PAST or PRESENT, and that you would not have any other way of knowing.
Word of Knowledge - The supernatural ability to receive a revelation of God’s WISDOM, PURPOSE and DIRECTION in a situation and relates to FUTURE issues. and that you would not have any other way of knowing.
Discerning of Spirits – The supernatural ability to SEE INTO THE SPIRIT REALM, enabling you to RECOGNIZE if something is DIVINE, HUMAN or SATANIC.
This is not “discernment” of people’s thoughts, motives, attitudes or condition.
Special Faith - The supernatural ability to BELIEVE God’s promises in an EXTRAORDINARY WAY, never doubting but remaining confident of God’s provision and protection regardless of insurmountable obstacles, and BEYOND HUMAN EFFORT.
This is beyond “normal Christian faith” that we demonstrate in our everyday life of faith.
Gifts of Healings - The supernatural ability to be God’s supernatural and miraculous intermediary for CURING people WITHOUT the use of NATURAL MEANS.
This is not to be confused with natural medical sciences, procedures or discoveries.
Working of Miracles - The supernatural ability to PERFORM INTERVENTIONS, which are perceived by observers to have NO BASIS IN THE ORDINARY COURSE OF NATURE, so as to glorify God and prove that He is real.
This is not to be confused with idly standing by as we watch a miracle; it is the “working” of miracles
1 CORINTHIANS 12:7-11 NKJV 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually AS HE WILLS (as he determines – NIV).
